The  Annual Showing of The Wizard of Oz at the Historic Empire Arts Centre in Downtown Grand Forks takes place the last Saturday of October.  Proceeds benefit Filling the Gap at  Altru Cancer Center.

Calling All Artists for Filling the Gap’s Cancer on Canvas Exhibit

If you have somehow been touched by cancer, now is the time to put your feelings into art and narrative. Cancer on Canvas will be on display May 3-31, 2008 at Porpoura Downtown. Then, you will have the opportunity to send your artwork to the international Lilly Oncology on Canvas Exhibition and Contest. Complete guidelines and applications for the exhibition are available at both Porpoura Coffee House and Altru Cancer Center. Pieces are due for Cancer on Canvas to Porpoura Downtown no later than April 15, 2008. To be eligible for the international competition, you must send your piece to Lilly Oncology per the guidelines by June 30, 2008.
